Last summer I decided to buy an air conditioner for my bedroom.
I had heard a lot about Friedrich so I decided to check them
out. I got in touch with an authorized dealer because I wanted
to do it right. I knew how important it was to get the sizing

and rise in energy costs.
Get The Sizing Right
Once I got the sizing right, the dealer showed my numerous
models of Friedrich air conditioners. Friedrich really gives
you lot of options when it comes to Friedrich window air conditioners.
You can choose from X-Star, Z-Star, Quietmaster, TwinTemp
Heat Pump, and Hazardgard. The cooling capacity of Friedrich
air conditioner can range from 5,000 BTU to 24,000 BTU.

I found the Quietmaster series quite appealing. I bought
the SS10L10 model which comes with 10400 BTU cooling capability.
What I liked best about it was that it was Energy Star certified;
therefore, I knew that I was buying a superior quality Friedrich
window air conditioner. This Friedrich ac comes with the Unique
Comfort Watch Technology. What this means is that my AC anticipate
the temperature fluctuations in my room and then adjust accordingly
to maintain an even room temperature. The other feature that
I found helpful was its ultra quiet Sleep Setting.
I followed the Friedrich air conditioner installation manual
while installing the unit. It was quite easy to install and
obviously I had a friend to help me out. One thing that every
buyer should do is to keep the copy of the receipt. You would
not be able to make use of the warranty without this proof.
Friedrich window ac parts are covered with a one-year limited
warranty. On the other hand, the sealed Friedrich air conditioner
parts, which include condenser, compressor, coils, reversing
valve, check valve, filter drier, and all interconnecting
tubing, are covered with a five-year warranty.
It has been almost one year since I bought my AC and I have
had complete trouble-free service. I obviously follow maintenance
procedures religiously. I make sure that Friedrich air conditioner
filter is cleaned every month. So far I have not had any problems
and I do not foresee any in the near future.
